What’s a Season Audition?
Season auditions offer performers a fantastic opportunity to showcase their talents for an entire season of shows in a single audition.
Instead of having to take time off work or rearrange your schedule multiple times throughout the year, you can prepare one solid audition package that puts your full range of abilities on display. This format allows you to be considered for roles across multiple CAW productions, even ones you might not have initially thought to audition for. Many actors have found themselves cast in dream roles because directing teams saw something special in their season audition that made them perfect for a show later in the year.

Beyond our main stage productions at CAW, your season audition also puts you in consideration for numerous community outreach performances throughout the Athens/Oconee County area.
From holiday concerts and school programs to special events and local festivals, we frequently receive requests for performers to share their talents across our community. These opportunities allow our CAW performers to serve as ambassadors for the arts, bringing music and theater to audiences who might not otherwise experience live performance. By participating in the season audition, you're not just auditioning for our scheduled shows – you're becoming part of our broader mission to enrich our local culture through the performing arts.
